An existing field was the site of the new Jogging Track, Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Football Field. 1700 cubic yards of stripping was exported to a neighboring recycling yard. Underground perforated drainage pipe and sand trench backfill provided positive drainage to accommodate year round facility use. Irrigation systems were installed prior to importing 1900 cubic yards of project specific soils. An infield baseball mix and a field mix ensured the site would drain well yet provide a firm, unyielding base for all sports activities. Once graded to exact tolerance field turf was installed in large sod rolls. Backstops, trails, benches, and native landscaping completed the project that sees daily use.
