An old nursery site provided many challenges during the construction of this multi building site.

Buried garbage, extremely moisture sensitive soils, and a massive 24’ retaining wall were all items needing urgent care. By making every effort to work the site under desirable conditions, OSG was able to take advantage of all available onsite fill. Imported gravelly fill was used to seal the site for winter construction traffic. While placing fill a 24’ tall Stone Terra retaining wall was installed along one side of the parcel. All site underground utilities were provided and connected to existing public utilities in the frontage right of way. Through value engineering the project owner and OSG were able to delete construction costs while covering the unanticipated costs.
